    Node and CSS are also not languages, SQL isn't really a programming language either to be fair, like would you ever say you program in SQL? Don't think so.

    @Drastic Fair enough but when have you ever heard someone call themselves a "SQL Developer" or a "HTML Developer"

    I think the real question here is, how many programmers use a certain language and how many complain about the language they use.

    For example, I'm not really surprised SQL is ranked first. With most programming languages you might use some flavor of SQL. However, whenever you are using Java, when do you feel the need to use PHP?

    Just something to think about... ;-)

    This is measured according to devrant profiles? So basically everyone knows some sql right c.q. has that in their profile? So no wonder why that one is ranked highest. No explanation for the rest. *flies away*
