Microsoft should have pre-install Visual Studio Code on Windows Platform rather then Code Writer. What is the purpose of Code Writer, anyone?

What is Code Writer? Only thing I know that is preinstalled is Notepad?

I guess a ms engineer got tired that there is no vim in powershell when he ssh'd into ms servers. So he wrote code writer and pitched it to his boss? 😆

Code writer isn't even preinstalled.

Also, the vast majority of Windows users don't program, so it's basically bloatware for the masses.

Not everyone uses vscode as their text editor

Vs code is fuckin beautiful. Started using it and loving it a lot. Microsoft is moving in right direction.
