They really need to improve the algorithm that is searching for things in Windows Explorer. Literally:

Windows: *Searching for files in Downloads*

Me: I just typed .mp4, what is taking so long!?

Windows: *No results.*

Make sure the current directory path actually has the .mp4s in it, like if you are at c:/some/dir and search but the .MP4 is at c:/some it won't find it, it only searches down not up, also use a *.mp4 the * is a wildcard. Doing these two things should work for you. You can also get really fancy and specifiy size limits aswell to narrow search results. If you want faster results to your searches try and get as "close" to where the file is so it doesn't have to recursivly iterate the entire directory hierarchy.

I feel like a dirty slut if I leave files in the download folder, to be honest.

I like to keep my shit as organized as possible lol

@Stuxnet since i've been introduced to "search everything" by my uncle (very very tech savvy☺️), i rarely use the explorer search, only when i know that there will probably be a result
...for everything else: search everything, needs a few seconds at start-up but search speed is incredible and it really finds everything😎
