hube6416yCould we have some insights about the app? Like the purpose of it/functionality/maybe some screenshot of the current front end?
-
jobstuck3886y@hube The app is a guitar tutor app. The application informs the user if he play a wrong note on his guitar in real-time. Just like a guitar tuner. And it also tells the user what note to play on the guitar and when to play it.

jobstuck3886y@electrineer Like what can I do? Haven't got any more ideas. Can u plzzz give some insight
-
@jobstuck I'm no designer but make sure that all text is easy to read and all buttons look consistent. Aim to make the app intuitive to use.
-
hube6416yThe notes seems also quite small compared to what they should be, the phone might be on the ground so everything should be big enough to be saw from 1-2 meters and not be confused
-
hube6416yOn the main page (i assume, with the exercise and scale button) the buttons doesnt feel positionned, i understand that you are trying to let the image visible but they should be lower or way higher
-
hube6416yThe volume bar also seems offcentered
Edit: its not a volume bar but a progress bar, anyway it seems offcentered to me -
musician6656y@jobstuck reduce the amount of images. If you have a background image leave it at that. Also whats the name of the app? Sounds interesting
-
jobstuck3886y@hube thanks for the suggestion will increase the font size and make it more visible
-
jobstuck3886y@hube @hube the small buttons on the left. Well it's a pause button to pause and play the guitar. Guess will have to work on getting that right tooπ
-
@musician I think there are dozens of apps like this already but I don't know if they are any good or how similar they will be with this. I've used some ear training apps that were actually helpful.
-
jobstuck3886y@hube sorry for that mate. Kept the mobile on vibrate at the office and didn't notice it until now. And many many many thanks for the suggestions. Will start working on them right away. Can't thank u enough man

jobstuck3886y@electrineer @electrineer well umm i added some functionalities like the user can make his own excersises play any scale he wants. And the app would analyze whether he is playing right or wrong by recording it. All in real time.
Hey guys, so i'm just about to complete my android application project which I started a year ago.
You can say it's sort of my baby. I've put all my efforts into it. The backend is almost done. The problem which i'm struggling with is the front end.
The front end of my app looks like shit. I tried to do everything to make it look elegant and classy, but all in vain.
And I can't afford to hire a front end developer or graphic designer. Can someone suggest me what to do.
I'm open to any suggestions as it's the first app i'll upload on the play store, I just want it to be perfect.
question
