    "... Nay."

    The kind that is trying to capitalise on people's stupidity. It's horrendous.

    At least add a text box to allow us to say why no, i'd just type:

    BECAUSE FUCK YOUR STUPID DIALOG AND NOW FUCK OFF I DON"T WANT NOTIFICATIONS FROM YOU!

    When some old ass person tries to appeal to millennials.

    Stop. Seek medical attention. And delete this shit.

    I'm a weird guy and, honestly, found this very funny (in a "Very funny, Dr. Jones" way).
    Would still close the website and blacklist the sh*t out of it. Just because.

    The notifications will be written the same horrendous way.

    Collab idea proposal. Extension to replace all annoying "no" type comments in subscription boxes like "later" or "oh come on" with "get lost".

    @hashedram what if we go the other way and make all text boxes look like this one? ☺
  • 2
    @YADU this is why we can't have nice things

    It's cringey

    That's not UX, that's management.
  • 2
    @RTRMS i am pretty sure choosing what all to write on the buttons and stuff comes under the category of UX writing.

    @ceee yes, but then the manager walks up to the most junior dev who won't argue and tells him to change it cause it will be cooler, said junior does, it goes all the way to prd and the rest of the team got WTF...

    I have seen this happen in corporate environments, probably happens elsewhere. A feature we had written, scrum master walks up to the api guy and tells him to make a change, 2 hours later I get a slack saying he changed the api and now the front end is not working. As if the fucking code auto updates.

    @RTRMS yeah it's probably the management 😅
