The world is fucked beyond repair. Elon Musk is very much right in desiring to go to Mars. @Condor I'd like to go to Mars or anywhere else in space forever. But i don't trust Elon Musk a wee bit. That guy has more hidden political agenda and selfish interests than most active politicians. Also in case of politicians you're aware that there's an agenda while Mr Musk can fool you right through your protective layer

@gymmerDeveloper Very true, I don't regard things like his #deletefacebook movement as very useful either (besides, he unpublished his pages rather than removing them in that publicity stunt). Also his whole bet of placing solar panels and giant swathes of Tesla batteries.. guess what it is, lithium cells and solar cells, like any other. The only thing that made it special and a PR stunt is the multiplication into large scale, made possible by nothing but money.

I don't like Musk because his ideas aren't very original and are only backed by money. That isn't helped by the fact that Tesla has been running losses for years now... He comes nowhere near the bright mind that was Nikola Tesla. However, his idea to go to Mars.. that's something that I really like. Probably he didn't play any part in the design of the SpaceX Falcon rockets, but still.. very impressive and a massive leap forward.

I agree on the going to Mars part. I'd like to do that and settle there. Hoping for a Ursula Le Guin's dispossessed kind of a future.

I think the best way to fulfill that desire is to start with oneself and to spread the knowledge and one's wisdom! Though we probably can't expect everyone to listen... thats why we have law and punishment tho.
