    Whoa, a spinning HDD. Haven't seen one of these in ages.

    What are you using it for? You can pull the broken connector with pliers. Be gentle.

    You probably can still pull it out, why is it still here at 2018?

    @intromatt
    For nothing, so far.
    At the moment, i disassemble my old PC, to clean it and then turn it into a server.
    Now I've lost the master, of this wire.

    I'm still using hdd's everywhere... But then, I want at least 1tb of storage and that would cost me around 500 if I'd go for an ssd and about 20-50 euro for a 1tb hdd...

    I've seen people use these old drives as art pieces. You can take the platters out and frame them. Look super cool mounted on a wall. @metamourge

    You use magnetic hard drives in 2018? Retro cool!

    My campervan has a CD player, I still chuckle. @linuxxx

    Well, you could just pull it out, or worst case solder some wires back onto it.. if you really want to recover its data, that is. Otherwise, I'd allow it to quietly spend its last days on a shelf somewhere.

    Python didn't like the master connector of the cable
