I’ve learned JavaScript in 2012, and after a few years of C++, C, Java and Python, I am seriously coming back to js. And oooh boi, things have changed. Back in the day 😅, jquery was the coolest lib ever, Nodejs was a new wild beast (v0.7.0). Kids these days don’t really how lucky they are.

    @Codex404 Neither did 2012 kids, most people thought jQuery WAS JavaScript

    Back in the day we had JScript on our servers working with classic ASP.

    It was a godless wasteland I tell ya...
    ......but I loved it.

    I've looked at pre es6 code and it haunts me. *shrugs*

    @illegaldisease no its not, ECMAscript is a standard which can be used in multiple languages, Unityscript was also following ecmascript standards of ECMAscript but it is not ECMAscript.
