Yup. Back in Windows days. That sound was just perfect for it.

When I first got a Mac the volume was up loud and I kept doing something wrong so the error chime kept going off. Dev sat next to me eventually got fed up and shouted "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!"

I found the mute button pretty quickly.
