10 minutes? Where I work we have compile time counted in hours. On biggest server with 40 cores.

@alkuzad wow great. I'm an intern so the fact that they've given me a codebase that has half a millions of code is surprising (They assessed my performance for two months of course). And this is one of their very small project. This will eventually take around 30 minutes to compile when I'm done porting all the codes.

@tahnik half million in 30 minutes? that's a lot of time, maybe it's java?

@alkuzad sorry, I don't understand. The developer gives you the source code to compile or what? Or your team supports the cluster, where every other worker compiles the sources?
