C'mon guys! 80 hours, 70 hours, 40 hours... Are you humans or fucking robots?
Once I stayed awake 36 hours helped by energy drinks and I could barely remember my name.
I can't really imagine how somebody could write useful code with such a huge sleep deprivation.

I know right. I'm like, "I stayed up 24 hours once as a teenager, eating chips and watching TV".

I've never even coded 8 hours straight in an 8 hour shift and I've been doing this for 13 years! I suppose that's a good thing but I feel inadequate. lol

36 hours is your best just staying up? I usually catch my second wind around the 26h? mark or somewhere around there without drugs but I'm conditioned for it add coffee and drugs i have a pretty good uptime despite being quiet and having no tolerance to other peoples shit (less than usual)

I will simply go home after 10 hours of work no matter what because time beyond that wouldn't get paid. That's to disencourage people from doing it.

@PerfectAsshole LOL. If that is true, I envy you. :D

@xonya it's true but it took me years to get to where it didn't bug me. I suggest the uberman sleep cycle over it cause if i do it too many times by muscles start screaming at me cause i don't sleep enough to burn off the Lactic Acid buildup from movement. Which is why i don't stay up more than 20 hours normally unless there's a big pool tournament or a really fun well paying job i have

You make the mistake of assuming I am writing useful code... hahaha

Actually sometimes, I code in my sleep... Work all day, can't solve a problem, then I get a brainflash the next day like "ahh everything makes sense now!"

    Does that count as 24hrs?

@CoffeeNcode I used to drink energy drinks and fall asleep when I was younger. They made my body wake up to realise how tired I was.

@CoffeeNcode I've been clean for years now. Seems like we are sharing our loved ones.
