    It's an internal server behind a firewall that is not freely accessible from the outside. But that shouldn't be an excuse for sloppiness.

    Yes what idiot still uses the old array notation in PHP just.... come on!!!

    You can actually find that in some of my production code as well... because it's not in use and my code only uses this as a fall back if the environment variables are not being found :)
