Heard of a few horror stories from installing Linux on a Microsoft product

Join the club as for the surface! It works very well for me on Linux (nearly everything out of the box) but it doesn't detect my cameras for some reason. I never use those fuckers anyways so for the that's a plus really :P

It's working surprisingly well! I'm using Ubuntu 18.04 LTS with a patched surface-Linux kernel. The only things that aren't working are folding up the type cover to go into sleep mode and the LED on the capslock. Besides that, using Linux on a Surface device is a charm! Even the Windows Ink Protocol is working, so I can still use my stylus. I'm stunned by the improvement of performance comparing Ubuntu to Windows 10 - everything's so fluid and fast. Absolutely amazed 😀@lxmcf @linuxxx
