hube6416yI didnt take the plane with them but the train, so first thing i did is:
I bought a 1.5m*3m (for 2monitors) of bubble wrap then wrap it up 2 layer with a lot of ducktape to hold it off. Then i choose a solid suitcase large enough, put a layer of clothes, one monitor, another layer of clothes, second monitor and a third layer of clothes, ofc you need to be sure that also vertically it doesnt move.
For a flight i think that would still apply, the only issue is that ppl in charge of luggage tends to throw them so i would put more bubble wrap and maybe create a solid part in the suitcase to hold them in place and have the less movement applied to them
Also the heavier the luggage is, the harder for them is to throw it (but that i am not sure) -
@hube thanks for the advice, I bought a suitcase with a solid outer shell and plan to do the bubble thing inside

taigrr8786yI do all the time. I put my shirts on them as if they are hangars, alternating direction. Never had one break.
Have you tried transporting you'r pc monitors inside suitcases? Ill be moving to another country and would like to get my screens with me. Its a six hours flight to the new destination.
Have you tried it? What precautions you took, how it went?
