I'm British and use one of the major high street banks. But I have a Revolut card for travelling. Lets you pay in any currency with reasonable rates, and gives you GBP and EUR account numbers.

@freshlyfe If you need to do an unusual online money transfer, you might want to look at HiFX. I went to Greenland last year and the tour company wanted paying in Euros. I went through about 5 different sites before I found one that accepted that Greenland has different IBAN numbers to mainland Denmark, let me send something other than DKK there, let me send EUR outside the SEPA area etc.
