@growling why not? I need to use my vacation days anyway and playing with new tech is sorta fun... Much better than fixing prod issues and doing boring work that just has to be done.
I don't do the creative learning now because I'm too tired from all the work during the day... And weekends are too short.... And filled with other things that need to be done...
CoWorker: so when are you going to be out?
Me: taking 1 week off Oct 1. I need a break from production issues and all these critical tasks...
CW: ah OK yea, you deserve it. So where you going?
Me: well I'm planning to just stay home unless the weather is really nice. I'm going to try React Native to build a mobile app and maybe look for some open source projects... O yes gotta look into my investments too...
CW: Oohhhh... Ok.... (We go on talking about Trump and why somehow the markets haven't crashed yet...)
