Yay.... Missed the last train because for some reason, the city's public transit thinks it's not in the 21st century and in the third-largest town in an industry state and can just say fuck customers, drop it like it's 1990 at 1:30 o'clock...

Well, time for an all-nighter. Prepare for some nice rants tonight...

Hope my boss considers the hours.

@Fast-Nop Not really worth the 4 hours of sleep i could get.

@ilPinguino you're not even legally allowed to take up work tomorrow without proper resting period.

@Fast-Nop I had my resting period. (legally, that's 12 hours btw. I had more than those).

That really sucks.. are you able to spend the night somewhere?

Yeah, I'm at work. Will see what my boss says about this, but really, I get shit done so I guess it's fine (He's a wk122 candidate btw).

I don't really care about compliance to social standards as much as I care about productivity and efficiency. Thought about starting polyphasic sleep anyway, now I'll start a few nights early, who cares.

Shit, what do I expect from a country who managed to get their entire national railway system downed by WannaCry (third cup of coffee, 5 issues resolved).

@ilPinguino Fun story from some years ago when travelling with German railway in winter: the heating broke down in my ICE. Obviously, I had a warm blanket with me. Staff came along and dealt out hot drinks for free - he looked and wondered why I had a blanket. Because I'm a frequent customer, I answered. ^^

@Fast-Nop Funny, I always get the idiots with no contingency plans...

"Oh, someone jumped in front of your train and your stop is in walking distance? No, sorry, we can't let you out, the district attorney / cops could have questions to you" - Yeah, me, who was in the last train car when it happened.

Funny enough, a buddy of mine was bold enough to light a doobie in that situation. Got us both out of the train, wasn't enough weed to get anyone into trouble though.

@heyheni Not in the part of town I work in... It's a commercial area, there's only offices and large stores. There's no real reason to be here except work.
