So I've started to use github more the past few days. It's a lil complicated for me but I'm starting to get it down

Advice that you can take or leave - Don't just commit a few commands to muscle memory and call it a day. Take the time to learn how to use git *properly*, including branching, merging, etc. - it'll all make much more sense if you have this knowledge behind you.
