@phoxis During install right now I was highly leaning towards trying i3 or budgie, but KDE isn't an option for a long while for me, just don't stick with how hard it is to get it to look the way I have it under gnome
-
phoxis2856y@JoshBent I don't get it. What's your distribution? I'm using Fedora since it was Fedora Core 7. Anyway, Fedora is primarily a GNOME distribution. I always install KDE (and also XFCE).

phoxis2856y@JoshBent I agree it's a memory hog but, after working for an in SuSE and trying it, I'll recommend that just give it a go on OpenSuSE. For bleeding edge stuffs, Fedora is best (check the Rawhide repository), for OpenSuSE, try the recent Tumbleweed thing.

phoxis2856y@JoshBent "haven't used KDE since open suse times". I don't know which time. Also, this is a Turing test for you.

shahlin4856yEven I've had problems with Antergos after the second last update. Kinda broke some stuff but after the last update I think it's fixed most of it

That kernel broke my Wi-Fi drivers. Luckily nothing else has been broken since my rollback and other updates.
First I didn't switch to the 4.18 kernel because it breaks thousands of gnome extensions and customization, now newest gnome broke it all too and downgrade caused gnome to just blackscreen, time to re-install
