Why do you wake up tired?? Isn't that what you go to bed to fix?! What the fuck kind of bullshit is this?!

There is a term called outburn

We have not gotten the "actual rest" software patch. This is quite the intrusive bug ain't it?

I wonder how I manage to get 8 hours of sleep and still feel like absolute shit.

I wake up early, work out, have a nice balanced breakfast, work and take breaks and walks while at work( the campus is quite nice) and at night I got to sleep at an acceptable time to get my sleep and i still wake up feeling like shit.

    This blows big time.

@rookiemaverick not every tired-as-hell week is burnout. There are more clinical and physical sympthoms. He's prpbably just tired 'cuz he messed up his biocycles. That's it.

Guys, stop hiding your tiredness behind burnouts. If you actually burned out you wouldn't be typing here. Believe me on this one.

Sleep where there is no light. Hormones that makes you rested works on dark environments. Also eat healty food and take some minerals. Sleep early. Sleeping to much does't actuallt helps but sleeping on time helps much.

@hack hormones like what...? This would be correct if we were talking about either newborns or some types of frogs. These two subjects have ways of getting light into their skull which directly affects endocrine apparatus. Adults' skull completely covers all the cerebrum (unless you treat eyes as a part of brain, which in a way would be correct) hence none of the CNS glands can be affected by the light directly.

There's another mechanism concerning light. It's eyes and REM/LM cycles. while it *could* be the reason why OP is waking up tired I doubt that's the case as OP would be aware of the light at night... it would be an obvious reason which would make the rant pointless :)

I could either sleep 6 to 10 hours, I'll feel like shit

I did some mental convincing to deny the tiredness effects, which worked to some extent. But recently I am again tired and i can link this to the fact I'm feeling sad

I can sleep in between 6 to 10 hrs and still feel like shit, I need 20-30 minutes to wake up, which I don't have in the morning.

Also noticed that taking a shower in the morning, hot, wakes me up a hell lot, might not work for everybody

Until I shower in the morning, I barely function as a human. The challenge is getting from the bed to the shower! And over 28 years I have grown a biological resistance to alarms..

@jase So what changed? Health or happiness? I find those can tend to be the 2 biggest factors on sleep.

@jase oh man, so sorry to hear that. Was hoping it would have been possible changes that helped improve your sleeping. Life can deal some pretty rough hands but sometimes the best you can do is keep fighting to be the fire that continues to burn for those you love and those you lose. I hope things get easier with time for you and you can use those experiences as your fire and your strength eventually to shine a light for those that are still there for you

    *positive changes
@jase no worries man, all the best!

You might be missing some vitamin /iron /etc. I was sleepy all day and found out I had vitamin D deficiency. Took supplements and it made a huge difference.
