Brought as in suggested etc.

When I first discovered devRant I started rambling about it to a girl at a party.

It didn't go well.

how the fuck in this holly world you people found women like this. I spent my whole life finding one.

While I certainly see the appeal, it's nice to have a non-dev partner as it has made me less of an introvert and see things from a different perspective.

@nblackburn same, and she has provided some good ideas when speaking generics about coding that I hadn't thought about. Mostly user ui things on where a button should go or sometimes she will look at me like it doesn't make sense and I know it probably won't go over well with others either... She doesn't get devRant though...
