I just found out about Yakuake terminal on KDE. It just saved my life.

    And for Gnome, guake... Quick, easy, pretty cool. I've been using it for 3 years now, for a quick kerberos init, dnf update, or a very quick vim magic.

    @piehole i dont have to switch through 3736722 tabs now to see the docker logs or quickly start stop containers

    I went with st + tmux for speed. But I'm not particularly picky about my terminal, as long as it's not xterm.
