NAlignak4148yIf you're curious about coming to the dark side you can always make the installation for Ubuntu on a USB stick, boot it and use 'Try Ubuntu' it's exactly the same as installing it and it never saves files to your PC, unless you make it...
Also a noon Ubuntu user (1-2) years and may be wrong, currently dual booting 7 and Ubuntu 16 on my lenovo w530 and it is super fast! -
hey guys, thanks for all the responses
lemme add some more nitty picky details, while live booting from USB:
- initially trying to dual boot, got error that processor core 03 went into NMI watchdog : softlock for 23s
- after disabling win 10 fast boot, that error disappeared and now I'm stuck with a new error : Unsupported splx structure
any experiences on this? any help would be greatly appreciated :)
What do you guys think about Ubuntu on windows 10, any first impressions?
I wanna try it out coz my new Laptop comes pre installed with 10 and installing Ubuntu is kinda very problematic in high end laptops according to a little research I did.
