My piece of advice: Only run LTS releases unless you like reinstalling.

@Haxk20 you must have lots of free time to deal with unforseen consequences. For me lack of time was the reason for dropping gentoo and arch and switching to ubuntu.

I run Arch myself but I sure do have problems sometimes. Usually stable though.

@olback I usually do a lot of switching between different flavors. So yes I don't mind reverting back to where I came from if something breaks.

@Haxk20 i have been using gentoo for about 5 years and arch for another 5. Then I got a job, friends and finally i started family.
I don't know your age but I feel like being lectured by a kid. I don't want to insult you, it's just how I feel.

Hey, I was like 3 years younger than you when I started with gentoo. And yet im over a decade older than you. Perspective changes. For me - it did. Only lazyness stayed the same.
