So I started working at this IT company here in Oslo. Norway. After almost 6 months, I have almost not had anything to do, except little over just 1 month where I actually worked on a project, and now that is done. I have nothing to do, so today I applied for 11 jobs.

Why not work on open source while you‘re in the office? I‘d love some helping hand over at https://spot-next.io

Use the time when you have nothing to do to:

    - Take an online course and develop yourself.

    - Read books.

    - Read Tech Articles

    - Provide assistant to Co-Workers.

    - Help People on StackOverflow.

    - Start your side project.

Use the free time to develop yourself :)

You were basically given the gift of time (that's being paid), use it wise šŸ˜‰

I’m hearing 50 applications to 1 call back in the States. Not sure about Oslo.

Given the working pace of Norwegians, it's entirely possible that your company thinks you're having a reasonable work load.

@jeeper Same. I'm a dropout from Uni because had to move in USA. So as a 26 years old I have to finish Uni here.
So can't wait to finish University and move to Europe or Asia. They pay less I know but there are a lot of other benefits.
