Me: Ok time to save money, have a trip to melbourne coming up, save for a house, car and wedding... Brilliant...

Internet: Oh hey you know how you wanted a smartwatch that was not sporty looking and has NFC, heres the Ticwatch C2!

Me: I hate my life...

Internet: also heres some of the programming theory books you wanted on sale!

Me: starts tying noose

Why must saving money be so bloody hard when everything you've wanted just pops up .-.

This, I keep on telling myself time and time again while saving for electronics equipment from my pocket money.. it takes diligence, but it's far from impossible!

@lxmcf if only I had access to my savings account, I could make up for all of the due desired equipment and more.. I know I need it - I've been thinking about the big purchases like desoldering station and oscilloscope for even longer than I've done about the components - but my BELOVED mother arranged the legal BS as such that someone else would manage my money. Perhaps for the best, but given the guy's recent fuckup and my own ability to maintain my money to afford food and drinks.. it sucks to have only a fraction of your own money, but it does give you the beauty of the limitation. It's something that I love in systems engineering.. I hate it in finance, given that I've got the skills of an accountant, but in systems it's sure been useful... Perhaps in hardware it'll prove useful too - as a bottleneck of sorts it sure did. There's a lot to be desired, but being able to achieve what you want to, with the stuff you already have.. that's art.
