@Stuxnet I just recently bought the 1050 ti, so basically trying to play all games I can, that I couldn't really before with the 750 ti haha

btw you could try in-the-cloud gaming depending on what region you are and what kind of internet speed you get, have had people tell me they got great results on paperspace, I myself only used it for testing out deepfakes though, so can't comment on it for gaming lol

@JoshBent i would love to be able to game in moderation, but no, not for me.

Still makes me wonder how much I'd have known if I had spent all the gaming hours on learning pentesting or coding.

@cherkie it'll come with age, I've played a lot when I was younger too, but now just in moderation and then get tired/bored of it at some point and then just do something like work on a sideproject.

@cherkie not to belittle you if you've had an actual addiction, just saying I've been in a similar point in life, just without any hard consequences.

I have 24 gigs of ram so that might as well be the difference, especially if you're e.g. on just 8 gigs that are also lowclock iirc.

Sucks that the new update broke Wayland though, didn't do a snapshot and can't downgrade?

@Haxk20 I am not sure you got me still, so just want to clarify, deus ex is imho even on 4GB vRAM not as smooth as any of the other games, even set to lowest settings it feels disgusting and laggy to play incl. constant frame drops, maybe it is running properly, but I got just so spoiled by things just working much better nowadays, haven't fucked around with any patches either if there is any.
