It is meant to work on any platform, I've seen an article online that shows kotlin compiled to Swift, but the question is how much of control are we given with that solution?

What about Xamarin, isn't their goal is to support at least the major, iOS/macOS/Android ..etc. How different is Kotlin compared to C#.

Does this mean a "war" started between Jetbrains and Microsoft for dominance?
