How do these fucken things actually work?
Is it really like linux on android on linux or is it a completely simulated thing?
Or does it access the linux behind android? If yes, how does installing packages work on ro mounted memory?
I mean they won't write a whole fucken x86 emulator in java with the Android sdk?
What is simulated, what is real, where are the borders and why?

I've seen it on r/unixporn or something. It's done by KLWP app, it's just a widget, not exactly a floating window.

Termux is a very good app. You can install all sorts of tools on it, like metasploit, and it has it's own package manager
