vane112806yI got prusa i3 mk2 that I assembled myself from prusa parts.
3d printing is funny, almost like paper and glue but without paper and glue is only on bottom.
Take the one with big printing area if you want to print a shoe. -
@GyroGearloose Yup, and until December we're living in a tiny apartment. So right now it's standing in the corner of our bedroom, collecting dust :/
-
@ScriptCoded Oh... your moving soon, the right choice then...
Too bad, I would love to get my hands on one like that...
I'll probably end up making my own in a year or two lol :D -
@Haxk20 Doing all that, thanks :D
That gave me an idea for maybe an electric probe, using a sensor tip and aluminum bed (I think that is your Idea also)... Only needs a few wires, a 3V battery, and a led... -
@Haxk20 Btw do you know of any tutorial to flash the bootloader to Anet A8 or where I can find it?
I haven't found the how to yet and the Anet A8 comes without a fucking bootloader, so I can't flash marlin on it. -
@GyroGearloose Yeah, I think I'll make it work :) But I've only played with it a little. And it was amazing
-
@Haxk20 Yes, I know I have to a programming as ISP, my problem is that I can't find how to connect to the fucking Anet... I know where the wires go, just not the order or where to pin them. :(
-
@Haxk20 well most pages are for bricked boatloaders lol but I think I found one... I already did that search but only now found this page...
Let's hope I don't brick it... -
@Haxk20
I'm followling this tutorial:
https://instructables.com/id/...
I'm stuck on step 4, it shows:
With Arduino as ISP, uploading Marlin, error:
avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt x of 10: not in sync: resp=0xd6
Save bootloader, with Arduino as ISP:
avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt x of 10: not in sync: resp=0xd6
With AVRISP mkII:
Uploading Marlin:
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt x of 10: not in sync: resp=0x4a
Is it possible the manufacturer protected the bootloader, or am I doing something wrong? -
Ok, I got the bootloader in... but still can't flash marlin...
getting a little crazy here... -
BTW, if your printer doesn't have a embedded webcam, just buy a cheap p2p wifi Chinese cheap IPcam
I have one looking at my printer while using my second monitor to see the feed.
Also, a led lantern is a must-have.
