So I shouldn't have written that Linux issue rant. While I'm spending whole fucking day to figure out how to fucking set my fucking secondary monitor to full resolution, the fucking WINDOWS of my designer's PC got BSOD and failed repair.

I've heard that whenever Windows 10 crashes, it's obviously a hardware issue, user error or a cheap machine 🙃

@Condor it just turn out like that after a shutdown because power was out. 🤮

@theKarlisK Oh yeah, had that today as well actually. Fan started howling away as if it wanted to achieve lift-off, opened up the PC (for which I had to open the DVD tray first.. don't ask me why, Acer "feature") so booted it up once, and another time when it was opened up to verify that it was the fan.. third time, Windows thought "well obviously your system has gone bad, right?"

Such a piece of junk it is. Basic error checking instead of exclusively relying on whether the PC was shut down during boot, is it really that difficult?!

@cursee Being broken from the get-go.. it's a feature 🙃 if at all possible, you should do something about those power outages though. Confuzers and especially their filesystems (NTFS, ext4 etc) can't always deal very well with black-outs. Btrfs on the other hand does, I think it's because it's copy-on-write. Someone else in the previous place I lived at tested that about a dozen times on my server actually, with their crappy extension cord that'd short and trip the breakers in the entire building (which over time I've learned is an issue of its own, downstream errors in userland shouldn't trip upstream breakers that go over an entire building. In my apartment building they actually had to do an intervention for that exact reason).
