@ausername not sure if I should put it directly on carpet, thinking it heats up or static electricity.
Temporary for now, bro though said I should get a plank of woods. Too heavy for desk. -
@billgates if your PSU is grounded, static electricity won't be a problem. Your PSU might choke if the fan is pointing downwards. But as mentioned above, a slab of wood would be ideal.

When I unwrapped the packaging at first I hot a few shocks so guess that's what made me concerned -
