So many new developers I know complain about not having the latest gadgets to learn to code. What I loved about learning to code was all you really need is something like Notepad and a few ideas, it's amazing how far you can go!

For lack of a better phrase:

Just do it!

Literally, you learn from making tens of thousands of stupid mistakes.

What gadgets do you speak of?

@champion01 One guy would only learn Android if he had a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ to test his app on (when they were new), he couldn't get one so never bothered. Another guy wanted to learn basic HTML but refused because he didn't think he had the right desktop computer.

so many free hosting services out there today, and Android can be emulated lol.

@peaam all I hear are excuses. Soon those developers will be unemployed or stuck in low paying jobs. Don't worry :)
