Anybody playing with Laravel Nova? Just finished skimming the videos, and I mean, wow?

Am I seeing this right, or basically you can now create an entire, simple app about 10 times faster than Laravel.

    It's not meant to build you a "whole app", but to give you a manageable back-end to manage your application data.
    The chance you're gonna let other users in there is almost nihil.

    If it has taylor's face anywhere in the page, then you can expect the "otwell tax", so pretty useless to 90% of the people actually interested.

    @xewl well actuary, that doesn't matter you can use it to build forms and stats for end users to

    Not sure you really understand what it does

    @rant1ng It's possible to do it, but it remains Administration-oriented. Day 1 license; check. (1 solo)

    @xewl how well are the license checks anyway? or is their hope still that you'll have to return to the dashboard for updates? after all it is selfhosted code, always a way around license checks

    @JoshBent The license is mostly only prohibition for downloading the source of releases. I bet if I give you a copy, it'll just work, but you won't be able to update versions, unless you acquire it in the same way.

    @xewl Wonder if it calls home somewhere, if you're bored a recursive regex search for URLs or IPs would be interesting

    @JoshBent Whenever I'm bored (: But I don't think so.
