How is this even supposed to make sense? A Java program just printing out some hard-coded HTTP error code?

And also, just a thought, maybe, they should have shown the output of tellMore("job")...
-

@david-hil Some context: The first println statement translates to "Boredom at work". Therefore it should print "Boredom at work? 404 not found".
Aside from the fact that it isn't the best idea to promote a software development position with an error code anyway.
-

No real error code. 404 is just a message. Not an error. But there is a compile-time error. But it is easy to not notice it.

I can see if they were to ask what the error was, and you said 404, they might filter you out.

Not sure how it is to work at vector, but most of their automotive products I used were utterly expensive crap. They all get the job done somehow, but oh boy, these are the tools on which nearly all of our cars software builds upon...

Their job site has some C++ that appears to compile. Has some call to an interesting function jobCode(1, 0).

DeWil2247yI think the target group for this is extremely small, because those who understand that code know that it doesn't make any sense. DeWil2247yI think the target group for this is extremely small, because those who understand that code know that it doesn't make any sense.

This job advert of an IT company would throw a compile-time error. Perfectly geared to the target group.
