If it is a joke then it is fine, but I use that extension and they definitely do use some algorithm. It is a very good extension.

Needs to change fonts and use color schemed that are good looking.

The algorithm probably calculates color codes that go nice toghetet based on tje originathe rest is CSS I agree.
