firusvg13788y@Jumpshot44 Actually - no. For 5+ years I was working from home (with occasional "trips" to office - 400 meters from my home).
I really don't like such short notice as I'm really not prepared (not mentally but more logistical - I need clothes, baggage, don't knowing native language in destination country, going to country where average salary is 6-7 times my own salary, going to work there on something without disclosing any particular details - I would act as consultant but I'm really not sure if I have expertise, leaving family behind and last, but not least, I have some health issues).
Form my point of view, whole this idea is one complete SNAFU on management side. -
firusvg13788y@klonky Well, I know that can't be easy to understand (perhaps not possible at all), but I live/work in Serbia, so, many things that are quite normal in EU, US, Japan,... are not applicable here.

Manager informed me that I need to go on business trip abroad (only 2000+ kilometers, two, perhaps three flight exchanges) in three days at customer's plant for (at least) two weeks. Of course, he only hinted vague details what I should/would do there. I must admit that I'm a bit baffled but ...
Please note that, because of health issues, i didn't leave home town for more than 5 years and didn't leave country for more than 20 years. ;)
Oh, joy ...
