Also curious to know what you studied/are studying/planning to study at school. I'm a sophomore bioengineering major, started coding as a hobby since 5th grade!

Hi! I studied web programming at Linnéuniversitetet (an university in Sweden) some years ago, and I am currently working as a web developer. Unfortunately, there's a huge underrepresentation of female developers at the company I work for... It's nice to hear that one's not completely alone in this industry though! :)
