Why did it take you 6 years to pass high school

@electrineer because school systems differ from country to country. I'm currently in my eighth and last year of high school.

@david-hil I'm just toying. Is the official English name really high school? And is there any other schools if one takes 8 years already?

@electrineer well, as I said school systems are different, so there is no translation, but arguable the best fit would be high school. We have 4 years 6-10 elementary school, and then three different "high schools" one 5 years, one 6 and one 8 or 9 years.
On the other hand, translating the word high school verbatim gives us Hochschule, which in German means college...

Pretty much the only thing I could say in Latin would be: "Errare humanum est, perseverare diabolicum"

Here's more info on the Belgian's school system (OP's country): https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/...

Google says it means "Lorem ipsum carrots".

But... that is no Latin. The first word "Lorem" doesn't exist in Latin. It's just made in a way to sound like it.

@Makenshi I know, that's why the irony is even more cruel :)
