Man I'm already old.
I got excited over a glass baking dishes and a cake pan for Christmas lmao.
My cousin was like "there's a difference between being an adult and being grown, and you're grown when you're over here getting excited over that."
Shit man, I'm fat and love to eat lol. Food doesn't cook itself, ya know -
@Jilano I got a new cast iron pan, a new pot, a few glass baking dishes and the cake pan for Christmas.
It's practical, useful, and things I needed but didn't want to buy lol
Had a few other things (a few utensils and things of that nature) on my list, but not as prioritized since were cheaper. -
stisch46036yIf you've recently upgraded to a 4K or retina display, you may have just returned your font size to what it use to be on screen.
Also, that's just one variable. Distance from your screen matters WAY more than font size. I say get the biggest monitor you can, crank that font size to 999pt, and sit as far back as possible.
My first boss taught me this. He had coded for 20 years and still had 20/20 vision. -
@stisch 1080 dual monitors (so 2160?) About 5 feet away from my eyes. Need to lean forwards to touch them and I got long arms

Root797786y23.8" 1440p, 8pt font. (@165hz! 😁)
It's nice.
I want a curved 4k.
It'll be nicer. (If slow...) -
Root797786y@irene 6pt is a bit small; 8pt is just fine.
10pt is okay, but 12pt is just huge. Anything larger than 14pt is for viewing across the room! -
@AlgoRythm u working on your monitor tan? Looks like your Avatar got darker recently
-
@beegC0de No changes. I'm just naturally mega sexy 😎
@Jilano You must have some long eyes to be able to see me from your living room
I used to love small 12 pt fonts but recently I've really liked coding with medium sized 16-18pt fonts and it's a big difference. As long as the characters are thin (like first code light) I really quite prefer it.
Am... Am I getting old...?
