That's a great way to pass coding parts of interviews and to get you started in the field.
But doing larger projects, simmilar to real world applications would yield you more experience in general. -
@ravijojila yes I am doing real life applications but taking off 1 hour for this challenge thing... so is there something else I should be doing?
-
@wamiqurrehman it's easy to make an app in an hour. Try adding 7 new features to those projects significantly impacting core functionalities and you will be closer to real life :) and try to do it within an hour 😁 ha! Good luck!
-
If you do these one hour sprints 8 times per day you got yourself a miniature SCRUM going.
-
@ihatecomputers shorten that sprints to 25 minutes and you do the pomodoro technique
-
@ShotgunSurgeon Shorten those sprints into one-second nano-marathons and you'll likely go insane! Yesss.
PS. Big fan of Pomodoro technique, especially when I have a hard time starting. Just wind up that clock and DO IT. -
@ihatecomputers I am loving it too. I even bought sand timers for it. 30 minutes and 5 minutes because there are no 25 ones.

I have started doing one hour coding challenges... I try to make small projects in that time.. I have felt improvement in my programming and thinking skills but I wanna know your opinions if I am doing the right thing for the long run?
