Nice learning experience from Spotify. If a survey response might contain negative feedback, just don't allow it to submit.

If the system is down tell people before the fill it all out.

After I spent time filling out the survey to give my feedback, it looks bad on them either way. Surveyers will be left more frustrated then before.
