How useful was my CS Degree?

I don't have one. I went $50k in debt trying to get one, but after shuffling schools and trying to make it work around a full time job...I took a break.

I've been a professional developer for 4+ years and worked in IT for over a decade.

I'm not sure if it's worth going back, but it sucks to have all that debt and nothing tangible to show for it.

    26 years old. Applyting for CS in Boston. Been working as a Developer since 2014.
    The only reason why I am applying is that when I submit my resume nobody calls me back. I get ghosted.

    @ColdFore It's a bunch of crap. I had a recruiter once tell me that I was over qualified for a job, but he couldn't even submit my resume until I had a degree.

    Personally, I want nothing to do with companies that worry more about a degree than the skills.

    @yosoyian I know right? It's a bunch of craps.

    Oh and the other reason why I want to get a degree is that I like to travel a lot. So if I want to move to Europe, it will be easier for me with a degree.
