IPAs, though originally an English invention, are really an American(and Canadian) art form. There are British, Irish, and European breweries-- especially newer ones --that are making them, but the real deal, so to speak, is in North America. -

Abita has been turning out some good stuff, and there are tons of good places in Texas and Georgia. MS and AL are light on selection, but they're getting better all the time.
