Does anyone else ever get so distracted/tired/pent up with other shit going on that they become a liability?

Last night I had about 5 hours sleep and have been worried over general UK politics lately.

Today, on a phone call to get support over getting locked out of our Apple Developer Program account, the call centre agent asked if we had the password.

I immediately replied "Sure! It's **begins saying actual password allowed over the phone**

    So we're keeping passwords in plaintext, aren't we now...

    PS. Lead dev, other devs, and company director were present. I was immediately shouted down by the lead dev. Fortunately the whole office is chill as fuck.

    @netikras nope, all randomly generated and stored in the password manager

    @beningreenjam And stored hashed? Definitelly not plaintext? Impossible to ever recover the actual password by anyone?

    @netikras it's a shared password vault across the company. The entire vault is encrypted at rest and the user is signed out after a minute of inactivity.

    I know what you mean, though.

    But I can't say I've ever given out passwords accidentally!
