Ok I'll bite as someone who has been away for a couple of weeks. Why are we all in 8 bit?

    ^^ that. And performance. Apparently devRant is short on storage, RAM and CPU resources. And network is bottlenecking, since it's hooked up via an old Motorola cellphone.

    They're generated by computercraft turtles in minecraft now, so to reduce load times they're downscaled significantly.
