My doctor told me my Vitamin D is very low, that I should get some sun.
My dermatologist wants me to stay off the sun to protect/prevent moles.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A bit of sun won’t hurt you, and sunscreen won’t prevent vitamin D.

There are foods that naturally contain Vitamin D like tuna and eggs. Instead of trying to figure this out yourself though, did you ask your derm and your doctor about this? They should be more knowledgeable about your options than random internet programmers.

The benefits you get from the sun in terms of what vitamin D your body can manufacture far out weighs any dermatological worries

Moles are just external blemishes. Even skin cancer is relatively minor risk.

    Get some sun.

@erandria you need very little sun in order to build up vitamin D.
