Going to reasoncon vienna. My plane from japan will land the day b4 at 2100 and we get on the train at 0630 so ill be really tired but oh well. I really enjoy travelling to the other side of the world.

Japan for me was amazing and a bit of a let down at the same time. I hyped it up too much in my mind i think. I'm still dying to go back though.

Japan was a let down for me. It was nicw, sure. But I did the same as others aaid and hyped it up in my head.

Plus, in the women department anime screwed with my head bad man. Now, when I see anime all I think is "u fucking liars"

@tenCharacters @AleCx04 it was okay for me, but the public transport is a million fuckin times better in europe and japanese people are like a cattle of sheep, i hated these things the most

@ganjaman I actually quite liked the train system. Very prompt and there are normally live updates of how many minutes away from the next stops you are (in the cities at least). My issues were mostly the language barrier (even after studying Japanese for over a year) and shopping for souvenirs. Went into so many shops that were full of the same boring stuff that even the biggest Otaku would have trouble getting excited by.

@tenCharacters biggest issue was that i had to change trains 2-3 times even for the shortest trips. Also i promised not to buy souvenirs, went into don quijote at akihabara and got random plastic bullshit for my grandmas and thats it

@ganjaman The Animate store in akihabara was the bighest let down for me. So many keyrings and posters for "in" anime and not much else. The pokemon centre was pretty great though! Food was amaaaaaazing! When i go back I will just keep eating until i run out of money.

@tenCharacters lucky for me, i was mainly looking for one piece/aot stuff so i was happy with those
