So this horrible client micromanaging every single thing in the application now suddenly asking me where a menu should go! I'm like why are you asking me that now I think you should take the menu and shove it up your ass?

That seems slightly better to me than having one like my client that takes a very hands off approach, letting multiple companies build a solution and only steps in where there is a GDPR concern. We all need to get approval on our processes from the client and it takes weeks for them to get back to us, even just with questions.

Micro-managing is bad but the alternative may just be as bad.

There are more emails and meetings than lines of code produced.
