So I had an interview with Amazon, I had 2 technical rounds and 2 managerial rounds. Now I am waiting for the HR to call, this guy is not picking up the call or replying to my emails. Its almost 3 days now and I am FREAKING OUT!!

How difficult is it to tell the candidate that the application is in progress/accepted or you have been rejected!!!

    @FahadAlt companies that take a month to react are likely to complain about the alleged dev shortage - because by then, the dev has already found a job.

    Besides, who wants to work in a company with so heavy bureaucracy that it takes them a month to react?

    Funding moves around. Approvals for reqs get stalled or withheld. There are a thousand legitimate reasons they haven't gotten back to you. But it doesn't help you, to keep trying to contact them.

    Dont spam them. 3 days is nothing, like others said, especially for big corporations.

    3 days?! Good heavens, stop calling and harassing them! It makes you look desperate, and that's never a good thing!

    Leave it a couple of *weeks* maybe, and then send a polite email.

    Always wait a week, then contact them... at least in my country this is standard work etiquette

    This is amazon, the company that moved from selling books to selling whatever the fuck they want.

    They can do whatever they want, I suggest you chill.
